Frankie update

Frankie is now residing with us and is still settling into her new cage and watching closely everything around her. It will take awhile for her to adjust to the surroundings and the noise – although she has no problem adding her own voice to the daily mix!

Shes eating/drinking and being vocal and chewing on a few toys although I am noting a bit of nervous pacing/swaying.  Hopefully this will settle down in time.

She MUST have an experienced home with no small children.  She needs someone educated in macaw behaviors with hands on experience.

She will also need to be closely monitored for egg binding/egg laying – she has had surgery in the past 18 – 24 months to remove an egg.  Subsequent eggs laid were malformed and soft so she may require more than average vet visits to monitor this.

She will need a few weeks to adjust and due to this there will be no interviews scheduled for her until further notice – but please still apply!

Applications can be filled out via our website if you are interested in adding this girl to your family.
